Which Human Foods are safe for dogs!

You got to accept the fact that dogs and humans have different food metabolism. That’s why some of the human foods are not safe for your pets and may also prove fatal for your dog’s health.
On the other hand, some food items are perfectly fit and even healthy for dogs to eat on occasional terms. In this article, we have tried to cover most of the food items that are healthy and also those that are not.
1. Carrots: Can Eat
Carrots are good to go both raw and cooked. Carrots are low in calories and very good source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. They are a great snack for your dog plus the added health benefits.
One thing that you should take care is that you cut them into bite-size pieces to prevent choking.

2. Grapes and Raisins: Can’t Eat
These are a bit risky for your pet’s health, so keep them away. Grapes and raisins contain some toxic compounds that are harmful for dogs. Their intake can lead to rapid kidney failure and sometimes even death. Even small quantity can be harmful, so don’t take the risk of feeding these items to your dog at all.

3. Salt: Limit
Some things are good only in a certain quantity and over dosage might lead to health issues. If your dog’s salt intake increases, it might lead to salt poisoning or water deprivation. It might lead to vomiting, diarrhea, and seizures and in severe cases, a high
amount of salt can be fatal. All we suggest is that you should just avoid salty food items, such as chips or pretzels. In case you occasionally feed your dog with these items, make sure that they have enough water to drink.
4. Peanut Butter: Can Eat
It’s a good idea if you give some peanut butter to your dogs in their diet plan. The best part is that it’s healthy and tasty at the same time. Anyhow you should always limit it to a certain quantity, as peanut butter is really high in fat and calories, which can cause weight gain.

butter.

5. Eggs: Can Eat
Cooked eggs are good to go for any occasion. They are completely safe and nutritious for dogs to eat. To tell you the nutritional values of a medium-sized egg; it is very high and fulfills all requirements for minerals and vitamins.
What you should keep in mind is not to feed raw eggs to your dogs. It might not impact their health but it could just make them vulnerable to the increase of getting infected.

6. Salmon: Can Eat
If you are feeding your dog with cooked, boneless salmon you are good to go. Salmon is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are commonly known to reduce inflammation. This might even help your pet’s skin and keep him/her healthy.
Again we would like to remind you to avoid feeding raw salmon to your pet. It may contain a parasite that might prove to be fatal for your pet’s health.
7. Chocolate: Can’t Eat
If you have a pet in the house you might already be aware of this one. Most of the owners know that they should not try to feed chocolate to the pets.
Have you wondered why?
The basic reason is that chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, and these two stimulants are not good for a pet’s metabolism.
What happens if your dog eats chocolate? The dog might show some of the symptoms like:-

• Vomiting,
• Diarrhea
• Dehydration.

In some cases, these symptoms may also cause serious complications like internal bleeding, muscle tremors, seizures and dog sometimes even death.
